This is a tribute Blog to the fantastic movie creature ALIEN, designed by H.R. Giger, first brought to the big screen by Ridley Scott, followed by James Cameron´s fabulous ALIENS and seen again in David Fincher´s dark debut ALIEN3. All work shown here are my own made CG (3D) models, made with the software Softimage, Zbrush and Photoshop. This is a pure fan-art project of my own. All copyright of the ALIEN character and the ALIEN franchise belong to Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation.

CG model based on the original Alien design by H.R. Giger. Updates soon.
Your work has inspired me so much, thank you! I am studying 3D and for my current project I am creating a xenomorph hybrid using the "Prawns" from the movie District 9.
I didn't realize how hard it is to create the Alien so I find myself here in hopes that you could possibly give me some answers? I would appreciate it very much!
I would like to know exactly how you created the tubing across the head and the body? Did you use the insert mesh? How did you get the ribs so perfect, was that an insert mesh also? and how did you blend the tubing into the body?
Thank you so much, your work continues to inspire me!
