ALIEN 3 CG sculpt WIP

Worked a bit on the ALIEN3 Runner. A few tweaks here and there. For test reasons I shaped the lips a bit to show the dentition. Enjoy.

Chestburster CG sculpt WIP

Beside the other Alien types and creatures, I worked always a bit on the Chestburster too. Of course I could not left that iconic part of the franchise behind ;)

You see here a work in progress of the ZBrush sculpt. Still a few things to tweak. By the way, my model shows the original design from the first film. I always preferred an armless and small-mouthed version over the followed up designs.

Stay tuned for updates on this one and for the final "Burstday"-party (don´t bring Your best suit for that one).

Here a small update of the ALIEN 3 Runner or Dog-Alien or whatever you wanna call it. It´s my attempt to rebuilt a CG (3D) version of the creature as it was seen in the third movie, helmed by David Fincher.

Base mesh was done in XSI and what I show here is the current state of the ZBrush model. Still a way to go to call it finished. Stay tuned for updates and the final animatable and textured version.

Pushed the render button two more times and want to share some more Aliens Warrior pictures. I guess I concentrate now on something (somebody) else and leave the Cameron Xeno on hold for a while.

First shot shows the Alien in a kind of mantis like way. If you look close in the movie you can spot something like that once or twice. I call that shot the "Geometric" pose ;)




Second render I simply call "BOOM". Gosh, that´s what happens if a Xeno encounters heavy grenade launcher fire.

Newest renderings of the Stan Winston / James Cameron ALIENS warrior. I applied a similar shader as to be seen in the new Giger ALIEN model shots. Tweaked the mesh here and there a bit, mainly the head as well the tail got some minor rework.

Current render of the CG Facehugger. I tweaked the mesh a bit, mainly at the fingers and made these as well a little bit longer and slender. The texture got big rework to gain a more skin like surface.
